A new ministry has begun!  Our church now serves as home for the 'Martinton Community Food Pantry.'  This is an answer to prayer on the behalf of Carla Prizy and Julie Langellier.  There continues to be a need for non-perishable food items to stock our pantry.  If you bring them in and place them on the table in the fellowship hall, we will make sure that they get put away!  This is an excellent way to help feed the hungry and provide assistance for those in need.  Monetary donations are also accepted; checks specifically designated for the pantry can be made out to the church and cash gifts should be placed in an envelope and given to Julie Langellier, Karla Prizzy, Jessie or Chauncey.

This past week we received word that the Martinton Community Food Pantry was the recipient of a significant grant.  Also, as of the first of the year the pantry is now part of a larger food bank, which will mean more food will be available to feed those in need.  With the addition of refrigerator(s) and a freezer, there will be a need for perishable items in the near future.  Contact Carla Prizy if you are interested in helping meet this need.
